Working closely with the communications team at Beyond Blue, I’ve designed the Annual Highlights publication for seven years, from 2018 to 2025.

The focus is on powerful storytelling, organisation achievements and donor recognition, while adhering to the brand style guide and continuing to push creative boundaries.

I managed each project from concept through to final production, delivering a 70-page annual report including financials, alongside a 12-page infographic summary publication - all optimised to support both print and digital audiences

Design roll-out of digital and print collateral in ANZSOG’s new visual style, from brochure templates to water bottles and graduation certificates.

Included full design & layout of a 40-page First Nations 2025 conference publication featuring details and highlights of the event at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

I’ve worked with ANZSOG since 2016, producing a wide range of projects including annual reports, strategies, course brochures, student booklets, program summaries, sub-brands, styleguide updates, conference materials and social tiles.

Production management of print and accessible files included prepping print-ready files, setting up as PMS/cmyk and to printer specs, and refining each piece to ensure optimal print and digital quality.

Collaborated closely with the communications team at The Royal Women's Hospital on the creative direction and design of event materials for their annual International Women’s Day breakfasts.

Hosting more than 350 guests, the prestigious event celebrates the achievements and contributions of women, with past speakers including Jamila Rizvi and Rosie Batty AO.

The project included concept development and delivery of invitations, programs, menus, seating charts, table cards, name badges, digital assets, and large-scale venue signage.

Concept, design and layout of 64-page Annual Reports for Monash University and Department of Health and Human Services, produced from 2016 to 2024.

The reports focused on translating complex information, statistics and organisational outcomes into engaging, accessible visual content, with a strong emphasis on information hierarchy, readability and clear data representation. Thoughtful image sourcing, alongside custom graphs, charts, tables and infographics, helped communicate key insights and annual performance data.

Working within the established and recognisable look & feel, I created a refreshed visual direction each year to reflect the annual theme. I managed each publication from start to finish, ensuring consistency, accuracy and high production standards across each publication.

Designed and wrote the new 2023 illustration styleguide for Beyond Blue. The guide consolidated the strategic thinking and creative direction behind the refreshed illustration style, defining its principles, usage rules, and visual examples for consistent application across the brand. The elements needed to be flexible for the different areas and stakeholders at Beyond Blue.

The initial illustration style was created by an external illustrator.

I’ve freelanced with MECCA since 2010, including several long-term inhouse contracts. Working closely with the internal design team, brand and VM managers, I’ve worked on their brands – Mecca Cosmetica, Mecca Max, and Kit.

Projects have included concepts, design and finished art for packaging, POS, and MECCA store Christmas windows.

A major project was supporting MECCA on the launch and rollout of the new Mecca Max range. I produced finished art for more than 100 products, ensuring consistency and accuracy across the range. I collaborated closely throughout development with the Mecca brand managers, and also Fabio Ongarato Design who designed the initial packaging concept and style guide.

Another major project, where I worked at Mecca HQ, was POS for 17 new Mecca Max stores in 6 months. This included setting up everything from brand and category signage, to gondolas and price strips.

Design of 28-page report for Turning Point and KPMG.

Creation of visual styleguide for the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System. Developed the guide based on a pre-existing style, included specifying fonts, colours, rules and examples of use of graphic device.

Roll-out of the style to promote the initial Commission hearings included infographic design, print advertising, social media tiles, stationery, signage and stationery.

Design and layout of the National Health Practitioner Ombudsman and Privacy Commissioner Annual Report 2016-17.

Design of a new visual identity and collateral for Viv’s Place - a supportive permanent home for young women and children, most of who are escaping family violence. Viv’s Place is named after the first qualified essential worker in the Launch Housing organisation.

We designed a visual identity with a look & feel that’s inspiring, hopeful, positive and with a sense of connection and belonging. The project included logo, letterhead, pull-up banner, brochure and styleguide.

Design of 88-page disability plan for the Victorian Government.

Plan needed to be user-friendly and demonstrate good practice in accessibility and inclusive design - with a simple layout, minimum 12 point text, document structure and colour contrast for AAA accessibiity.

Style complements Brand Victoria visual guidelines. Design included infographics and layout structure around 4 pillars of government commitment.

Images were selected to challenge negative attitudes and stereotypes, and represent a range of ethnicities, gender and sexual identities, disability, age and location (metro & rural).

Layout of the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing strategic plan 2021. Inaugural 56-page plan for a newly created Victorian government department.

Concept, design and layout of 2023 Monash Uni report into the safety of social media apps. Slider/toggle graphic concept used throughout is based on an app user safety control feature. Included design of infographic summary pages, graphs and highlighting many feature quotes.

Design of 36 page Annual Report including infographics, tables and graphs.

Design of new logo and visual style for Mental Health Reform Victoria. Collaborated closely with the communications team to create a logo that symbolises the connection with the Royal Commission and progressive reform work. Produced styleguide, Indesign templates, stationery and pull-up banners.

Design of 24-page plan and poster for the Victorian Department of Family, Fairness and Housing. The abstract visual subtly reflects the sensitive and broad areas of child protection and mental health.

New visual identity for Age Friendly Victoria, an initiative of the Department of Health and Human Services.

Visual feel needed to be closely aligned with the existing designs of Seniors Victoria Festival and Brand Victoria.
